Cola Cake

1 cup cola carbonated beverage

1 cup buttermilk

2 cups Yelton's Best Plain Flour

2 eggs, beaten

2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows

Combine flour and sugar in a mixing bowl. In a saucepan, melt butter; add cocoa and cola; heat to boiling. Cool slightly. Pour over flour and sugar mixture and stir until blended. Add buttermilk, eggs soda, and vanilla; mix well. Stir in marshmallows. Pour into a greased and floured 13 X 9 X 2 pan. This will be a thin batter, with marshmallows coming to the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Remove from oven and frost in the pan while still hot with cola frosting.

Cola Frosting

2 tablespoons butter

2 cups confectioner's sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

½ cup chopped pecans

6 to 9 tablespoons cola carbonated beverage
